Sangsad Bangladesh TV is a state owned television channel of Bangladesh. The channel brings programs regarding parliamentary activity in Bangladesh and other countries. The channel began operating in January 25th, 2011. There are only two terrestrial government-run television channels in Bangladesh. These are Sangshad Television which broadcasts via satellite around the clock to Asia, the Middle East, and Australasia.

The Bangladesh constitution has named the legislature as Jatiyo Sangshad in the Bengali language and House of Nation in the English language. Sangsad is a word that means parliament. Therefore, Sangsad television channel airs programs of parliamentary nature in Bangladesh. The channel also airs live programs of national parliament live from Jatio Sangsad. When the channel is on recess from live parliament proceedings, it telecasts shows on the history of the Sangsad, discussions on crucial bills and legislative practices in other nations between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
