It ain't easy being a mercenary on a dead world: a ruined world where the sun blocks everything with it's heat. Sarcastic risk-taker Fray finds herself chased by everyone from underworld thugs to Federal Agents as she leads an expedition out into the sun burned areas of the north where they will learn, that some things are better left unlearned. S.C.I.F.I. World was a daytime programming schedule for the Sci Fi Channel that started on July 17, 2000 and ended on December 21, 2001. It aired reruns of science fiction series blocked in mini-marathons through the week.
