India and England are scheduled to play 4 Tests, 5 T20Is, and 3 ODIs from the 5th of February as a part of the England Tour of India. The bilateral series is being sponsored by Paytm. England has just finished its tour of Sri Lanka which is comprised of two Test Matches. The English team had won both the test matches and are ready to face India in their next tour.

The England tour of India covers 4 Tests scheduled from February 5th to March 8th in Chennai and Ahmedabad, 5 T20Is scheduled from 12th March to 20th March in Ahmedabad, and 3 ODIs scheduled from 23rd to 28th March in Pune.

India�s triumph in Australia has brought forth some hidden gems into the limelight. Players like Cheteshwar Pujara, Shubhman Gill, Washington Sundar, Mohammad Siraj, and Rishabh Pant under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane put their best foot forward to seize the title in The Gabba. Along with these heroes, the series will most likely have Ishant Sharma and Hardik Pandya who missed the Australia tests due to injuries.

Virat Kohli who returned to India after the first test in Australia will be leading the squad in the Paytm India vs England 2021 Trophy. Along with the abovementioned players, the squad for the first two tests includes Rohit Sharma, Mayank Agarwal, Wriddhiman Saha, KL Rahul, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur, R Ashwin, Kuldeep Yadav, and Axar Patel.

The England team decided to rest Jonny Bairstow, Mark Wood, and Sam Curran for the India vs England matches. Ollie Pope will be added to the squad after he is declared fit.
