Gujarat Lok Sabha Elections Live Updates

Gujarat General Elections 2019 are scheduled in one phase on April 23rd. The state has 26 seats all of which are currently held by BJP. Congress that had won 11 seats in the 2009 elections has lost all its seats to BJP in 2014. INC and BJP are two major parties that are existent in the state along with Swatantra Party, Praja Socialist Party, Indian National Congress Organization, Janata Party, Janata Dal, etc.

Over 4.4 Crores of eligible voters exist in Gujarat. The opinion polls suggest that BJP might not be able to clean sweep the state this term. Congress which holds no seats currently has a chance of winning in certain regions of the state. The improvement in the number of Legislative Assembly seats also indicate that Congress might be able to bag as much as 12 �???�??�?�¢?? 13 seats in the upcoming Gujarat General Elections.

Elections are organized on 23rd April in all the districts of Gujarat- Kachchh, Banaskantha, Patan, Mahesana, Sabarkantha, Ahmedabad East, Ahmedabad West, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Porbandar, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Anand, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Vadodara, Chhota, Udaipur, Bharuch, Bardoli, Surat, Navsari, and Valsad.
