The residents of the quaint town of Kharbujewadi, once a village housing people who served the legendary Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, today seem to have forgotten the valour and grandeur of the ruler's forts. Deshmukh, the sarpanch of the village, takes it upon himself to restore a decaying fort to reflect its glory days. However, the government has a different plan in mind for the money allotted for the restoration.
