Chinna Thambi (Sivaji) is a much respected social worker and lives a happy life with his wife Seetha (Padmini) and brother Jaishankar. Due to his social activities, Thambi barely gives any time to his wife as a result, their marriage life suffers a lot .A dishonest shopkeeper Nambiar runs the shop in the village. His daughter's name is Lalitha (Vanishri). After getting complaints, Chinna Thambi confronts Nambiar’s dishonesty and opens a new cooperative as a help to villagers.
