ICC Men`s Cricket World Cup 2023 Live available in Continental Europe, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives and South East Asia regions (Except Singapore).

It`s time to unleash the cricket fan in you and join the massive cricket celebrations. After bringing the Asia Cup 2023, YuppTV is back with the ICC Men`s Cricket ODI World Cup India 2023, where ten teams fight to conquer the world. For the first time, India gears up to solely host the biggest cricket event to entertain cricket fans across the globe. The thirteenth edition of the ODI World Cup will begin from October 5 to November 19, 2023. India, Australia, England, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, South Africa, and the Netherlands will participate in this mega event for 45 days. A total of 48 matches will be played, including nine games by each team, four quarter-finals, two semifinals, and a grand finale. Team India joins the camp with enormous confidence from their recent victory in the Asia Cup.

Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will kick off the formalities to start the campaign opener between the defending champion England and New Zealand. England and New Zealand played against each other in the 2019 World Cup final at the iconic Lord`s Stadium, where England emerged victorious. Batting first, the Kiwi side scored 241 and in response, England got out at 241, which forced them to play a super over. Even the score got leveled in the super over and the winner was declared through the maximum number of boundaries hit. This handed a victory for England and their first World Cup. It was a stiff competition and a riveting thriller final, where both teams fought with blood, sweat, and tears.

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan is held on 14 October at Ahmedabad. The tickets were sold in just a few hours after the sale was opened. Pakistan has never won against India in the ODI World Cup and would like to break the jinx. India is soaring high with confidence after the Asia Cup victory and would like to continue the same momentum. With all players in good form, team India expects players to chip in at the right time and provide breakthroughs.

Who will grab the last semifinal spot and face India in the World Cup 2023?

The ICC Men`s World Cup 2023 has come to its business end, and this last week is yet to bring the fourth team vying for the semifinals. While India, South Africa, and Australia grabbed the first three spots in the knockout stage, one team from New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan will make it to the next level. Enjoy watching the Cricket World Cup live on YuppTV and experience endless excitement.

With eight straight wins, team India seized the top spot. The Men in Blue destroyed all their opponents with outstanding batting and spectacular bowling. The Men in Blue will play their last knockout game on Sunday against the Netherlands. India will continue its supremacy and remain at the top regardless of the result of this match against the Dutch. They will face the fourth team qualified to the semis. Since New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are in the race to grab the fourth spot, we must wait a few days to see who lock horns with India in their semifinal.

Although South Africa and Australia have 12 points in their bag, a better net run rate allowed the Proteas to take the second spot. South African batters unleashed their beast mode and defeated the top teams by a massive margin. The Proteas dominated the campaign and won six games but suffered a humiliating loss against India and an embarrassing defeat to the Dutch. Despite losing their early two games, Australia bounced back and won all their remaining games. The Aussies have six wins and have grasped the third position. Both teams will remain in the same position irrespective of the result in the final group match.

The better net run rate gives New Zealand an edge over the other two teams. Here are the possible options for New Zealand, Pakistan, and Afghanistan to confirm their berths.

Option 1

New Zealand must win its last game against Sri Lanka and reach the semis. Pakistan and Afghanistan will stand a chance if they beat their opponents with a huge difference.

Option 2

Since Pakistan has a better run rate than Afghanistan, the Men in Green will have a chance if New Zealand and Afghanistan lose their games.

Option 3

Afghanistan will remain a potential prospect if it maintains a considerable run rate and both Kiwis and Pakistan lose their games.

The hope of a new winner in this World Cup vanished as New Zealand and South Africa failed to enter the finals. Both teams lost their semifinals, ending their campaigns one step away from glory. While New Zealand could not beat India, South Africa fought till the end but lost to Australia. As a result, India and Australia will lock horns in the ICC Men`s Cricket World Cup 2023 final this Sunday at Ahmedabad.

India and Australia faced each other for the last time in the 2003 World Cup final in Johannesburg. Taking forward the start provided by openers, Ricky Ponting smashed an outstanding century and built a solid partnership with Damien Martyn. Chasing a mammoth 359, India fell short and lost by 125 runs.

The Men in Blue are confident and enjoying red-hot form in this World Cup. Everyone chipped in at the right time, from the openers to the number 11 down in the order. While batters provide fantastic starts, bowlers deliver much-needed breakthroughs at crucial times for the team. India wants to repeat the 1983 and 2011 to grab its third championship.
