The police arrive at Archana's residence, after her neighbour complains about gunshots fired at the residence. However, Archana informs the police that her daughter, Ruchi, was watching television and the gunshot sounds heard by the neighbour were a part of a TV program. Her neighbour, who served in the army, reassures the police that he heard actual gunshots. Later, Rajesh calls up Archana, but calls her by the name Kavya.
