Vidyunmali gets a trident from Lord Shiva. Parvati tells Lord Shiva that Vidyunmali may misuse his trident. Vidyunmali appears before Hanuman and hurls the trident towards him and Hanuman tries to defend himself. He instructs Pushkal to not help him as he tries to stop the wind originating from the trident.
