Ram informs his brothers about his decision to leave the mortal life. He is aware that Hanuman will never allow this to happen. Bharath pleads with Ram to stay with them in Ayodhya but Ram orders Bharath to become the King after he and Laxman depart. Then, Bharath and Shatrughna, no longer wanting to live on Earth without Ram, decide to accompany him and ask Ram to name Luv and Kush the heirs to the throne.
