When King Kans asks Sage Kapil to prepare lunch for his army, Sage Kapil does the job with absolute ease using the mani. The greed begins to sprout in Kans' heart and he plans to snatch the mani from Sage Kapil. However, Ganesha doesn't let that happen and kills Kans instead. But Kans is brought back to life as a changed person after his parents apologize to Ganesha. Later, Vishnudev tells the story of Chintamani temple and what happened when Prince Rukmund got cursed by Sadhvi Mukunda.
