If you will breed trouble then you will end with it too. Indra and other devtas learn this when they use their powers to create a demon Vighnasur, in an attempt to destroy a king's yagya. The demon succeeds, but devtas lose control over him. As a result, Vighnasur starts destroying all yagyas. Seeing this, Indra and devtas commence their own yagya to gain enough power to stop the ravaging demon, but their own yagya gets destroyed too. In desperation, they turn to Ganesh for help.
