Despite facing enormous odds, Aastik manages to convince Janmejay's army to stand down, but even then, they refuse to budge from their place. Just then Mata Mansa herself reaches there in her furious form to help him. Aastik finally succeeds in breaking through the circle of the soldiers, but now Utank's mantras form a barrier around the yagya site and stop him from entering it. He can't do anything except to watch the snakes getting pulled into the fire to meet their doom.
