The minister of Raja Krishnachandra informs the King that the Nawab of Murshidabad has conveyed a message for him. The minister says that Nawab Bahadur is tired of playing old indoor games and hence, he wants Raja Krishnachandra to think about devising a new game for him. The minister further says that if Raja Krishnachandra is unable to come up with a satisfactory concept for the game then he will be imposing hefty taxes on his province (Krishnanagar).
