The story centers on two cases,one is set in Mumbai and the other is set in a town of Bengal. In Mumbai, a mysterious woman by the name of Naina is stalked by strangers and on her birthday party night, the stalker and Naina's own husband are killed. Simultaneously, in the Bengali town, a wealthy elderly man Bhaudralok, who is expecting the arrival of his nephew Byomkesh Bakshi dies a seemingly natural death by a heart attack. Could these cases be connected?
