When the government announces quotas to increase womens political representation, Annasaheb, an MLA for the past 30 years, compels his intelligent daughter Vasudha to take over from him and continue so that nothing changes for him and his family. In due course of time Vasudha realizes that she is a mere puppet in the hands of her father and that she has no power as an MLA. Even when her wayward brothers atrocities increase, the family turns a blind eye. However, Sameer Shinde, Vasudhas college friend, opposes, and the family doesnt take it too kindly resulting in, Sameer being murdered. Now Vasudha reaches her breaking point and vows to bring the killer to justice, even if it means breaking all ties with her family.
